The museum was created by the family but also with the full support and contribution of the entire local community of the island. Priceless antiques narrate the wandering of Ios over the centuries.

The guided tour includes the chronicle of the agricultural life of Ios. The guest will be presented with a cheesery and a house of the 18th century, a threshing floor and the agricultural tools of the last 3 centuries as well as with a historic well. During the tour, the tangle of the island’s history unfolds with exhibits owned by the family and donations from other families as well.

Finally, the experience ends with a degustation of various handmade products of the estate and a gift from the owners.

The warm hospitality of the family magnetises visitors and completes the experience by keeping them captive over time.
